Our Story

SQ Philip’s Steaks has been family-owned and operated since 1983.

Our mother, Susan Baldino, ran Philip’s Steaks from 1983 until her passing in 2019 of breast cancer (which is why all our logo paper goods, sandwich wraps, etc has the breast cancer ribbon on it).

I am incredibly proud to carry on the tradition of serving authentic South Philly cheesesteaks, sandwiches, and burgers.

Our location at 2234 W Passyunk Ave in Philadelphia, PA has been a staple in the community for decades, serving up quality food with a side of South Philly pride.
